OhioASCD is a valued affiliate of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum and Development (ASCD) and is a recognized voice in Ohio of research-based practices for teaching learning, and leadership. We are a dedicated and diverse community of over 1,100 Ohio educators with a focus on improving education for every learner.

We publish the News and Views Newsletter four times per year to provide members with information about what is happening within the organization, updates on important issues in the state, and upcoming opportunities for professional development.

We proudly publish the award winning OhioASCD Journal twice yearly in order to give educators opportunities to publish their research and topics of interest to other Ohio educators. We maintain a website to keep members informed about OhioASCD happenings.

We sponsor professional development opportunities throughout the year to help school districts become aware of current research-based practices in instruction, curriculum development, and school leadership.

We collaborate with other statewide organizations such as the Ohio Learning First Alliance (OLFA) to influence the educational agenda in Ohio and work closely with the Ohio Department of Education to have a strong voice in the state educational arena by promoting an ever-improving educational program for children in Ohio.
